Tree Felling
Tree felling is the safe, controlled method we use to remove a tree when it can no longer remain in place. A removal may be necessary if the tree is diseased, dead, severely storm-damaged, or growing in an unsuitable position on your property.
When removal is required, our certified arborists utilise advanced techniques and professional-grade equipment to ensure the tree is systematically dismantled and felled with maximum safety and precision.
If you require professional advice, a tree survey/report, structural decay testing or assistance with Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications to the local authority, our team is more than happy to support you.

Oak Processionary Moth and Nest Removal
Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) gets its name from the distinctive processionary behaviour of the caterpillars moving in nose-to-tail lines.

The caterpillars of these moths feed on oak foliage leading to severe loss of photosynthetic material which can reduce trees longevity and make them more vulnerable to other diseases. However, the main concern with this pest is the threat to human/livestock/pet health because the caterpillars urticating hairs can cause severe allergic reactions.
Surveying - We can help you identify and spot OPM nests or OPM caterpillars.
Treatment - We use environmentally friendly Dipel DF which is endorsed by the Forestry Commission. It is a natural living bacterium which is not harmful to humans or other animals or wildlife.
Nest Removal - We have teams in place to safely remove OPM nests.

Stump Grinding
Stump grinding involves removing the stump and root bole to a specified depth, generally between 150mm and 300mm. Once the stump has been removed any remaining cavities are backfilled with the grinding spoil, leaving a relatively level surface, unless otherwise requested.
This means that problematic tree stumps are a thing of the past enabling you to proceed to the next stage in your project.
If a stump cannot be ground out, we can apply Eco-Plug herbicide, which is an effective and environmentally responsible option compared to traditional stump-treatment products.
